Murder in Atascocita
This is 26-year-old Charity Freeman. Investigators say she and a man were shot and killed at a home in Atascocita on Monday. Their accused killer, Freeman’s ex-boyfriend, is charged with capital murder and has been denied bond.
Family Laying on Sidewalk in Northwest Harris County
A woman, toddler and baby were found laying on a sidewalk in northwest Harris County, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. The two kids were being treated for cold-related injuries.

Prayers For A Speedy Recovery
K9 Rocky, part of the U.S. Marshal’s Special Operations Group, was shot multiple times in the neck during today’s takedown of Robert Davis, the man who killed Brazoria County Deputy Jesus Vargas. Rocky was flown to the vet in a DPS chopper & is expected to survive. His handler says he saved his life.
