In the 6500 block of Spencer Highway near Red Bluff in Pasadena, Texas, we previously reported that the Pasadena Police Department was investigating a death in a parking lot after a man was found deceased in a vehicle. We have now been informed that this is a homicide investigation.

The Case of Luis Deleon
Jonathan Hernandez, 18, is charged with capital murder and tampering with evidence – human corpse in the 248th State District Court. On February 15, the U.S. Marshals Office’s Fugitive Task Force and Mexican authorities arrested Hernandez in Mexico. He was extradited back to Texas and booked into the Harris County Jail. His bond is set at $800K.
