Fernando Bravo Jr., 27 (27?!!?) has been arrested and is facing two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after investigators say he repeatedly tried to run over two people with his vehicle during an incident at a mobile home park in Channelview that left one victim injured.
Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office District III Patrol responded to the 15400 block of North Brentwood Drive on May 10 after receiving a report that a neighbor had struck a man with a vehicle. According to investigators, Bravo allegedly attempted to hit two victims multiple times before ultimately striking and injuring one of them. Detectives also learned Bravo had allegedly threatened to shoot the victim several times in the past.
In the video provided to us by the Hood News Peep’s loved one, the suspect could clearly be heard saying he wanted to kill them.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Offenders Unit led the investigation and filed warrants for Bravo’s arrest on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. On May 13, members of the Violent Offenders Unit, the Harris County Violent Persons Task Force (VIPER 2), and the Pasadena Police Department located and arrested Bravo in Pasadena before he was booked into the Harris County Jail.
We had posted about this incident over the weekend involving one of our Hood News Peeps and wanted to share the update on the arrest.
