Michael E. West, 48, has been charged with murder and aggravated assault in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 33-year-old woman at 5440 Braesvalley Drive on Saturday, October 12th. Officers initially responded to a report of a shooting but found the victim with multiple stab wounds in her apartment. The suspect later turned himself in and was taken into custody. The victim’s identity is still pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
