Last night, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to an in-progress life-in-danger call in the 6800 block of Champions Plaza Drive.
Upon arrival, Constable Deputies located a 4-year-old child suffering from a single gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel responded and transported the child to a local hospital, where the child later succumbed to her injuries.
This remains an active investigation.
