Family Questions How Arrest Photos Allegedly Ended Up on Deputy’s Snapchat

A mom and sister who are Hood News Peeps reached out to the Hood News messenger regarding concerns they have involving a deputy’s alleged conduct following a recent traffic stop involving their loved one, who was later arrested in the Magnolia area near Hardin Store Road and Dobbin Huffsmith Rd.
According to them, their loved one was stopped for an expired registration and taken into custody after a vape pen was allegedly found during the stop. The Hood News Peeps said their concern is not about the arrest itself, but about what they believe happened afterward.
The family alleges the deputy may have taken a photo of the young woman while she was handcuffed in the back of a patrol car and later posted it to a personal Snapchat account. They also claim the deputy may have shared a photo of her driver’s license with another person while asking if they knew her. You can see the photo below for yourself.
According to the family, the individual contacted by the Deputy personally knew the young woman and later shared screenshots and information regarding the alleged messages with her family.
The Hood News Peeps stated they have since reported the incident to Montgomery County officials and filed an incident report with a supervising officer. They said they were advised they should receive follow-up communication by Friday morning regarding the complaint.
The family is requesting a formal investigation into the alleged sharing of personal information and social media activity involving the deputy while on duty.
