37 year-old Gary Davis, has been arrested and charged with Murder in connection with the death of 36-year-old Marlon Sanders, according HCSO. He was booked into the Harris County Jail after authorities located him with assistance from the Violent Criminals Apprehension Team (VCAT), K9 units, and Air Support.
On Tuesday, 5/26, Deputies responded to a shooting in the 12700 block of Blue Timbers Ct near Tidwell and C.E. King. Once there, Deputies found Sanders suffering from a gunshot wound while standing near his vehicle in the street. He was taken to the hospital, but died.
Davis had previously been in a relationship with Sanders’ wife while the couple was separated, and the two shared a child together.
According to investigators, Sanders and his wife went to pick up the infant after the child had been staying with Davis for a few days. That’s when Davis allegedly came outside and shot Sanders. No one else was hurt during the incident.
Harris County Sheriff’s Office CSI and Homicide Detectives are investigating the case.
