Federal Court Documents Reveal Charges of Child Exploitation Following FBI Probe

Court records reveal that Frank Steven Demo, from Spring Branch, has been charged with sexual exploitation of minors following a multi-state FBI investigation.
Investigators say Demo used social media to contact underage girls and was identified after a parent reported disturbing messages. Federal agents later traced his online activity to Houston, where he was living with family. When FBI agents executed a search warrant at his home, Demo allegedly tried to destroy his phone, but investigators were still able to link him to the accounts in question.
According to subpoenaed employment records, Demo was working at Spec’s Wine, Spirits & Finer Foods as a warehouse associate at their Clay Road location in Houston.
Court documents state that at least four minor victims have been identified in this case so far. Tragically, one of those victims later died by suicide due to the psychological impact of her victimization, according to FBI Houston.
The FBI affidavit concluded there is probable cause to charge Demo with sexual exploitation of children under federal law. This investigation began in Michigan and now involves four different states.
