Arrest update: on Friday, 2/21/24, Harris County Sheriff’s Office units responded to a shooting at the 1600 blk of FM-1960. Upon arrival, units found John Dale Dixon (50) unresponsive from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Just prior to the shooting, the victim and the defendant (Wilson) had a verbal altercation at a nearby complex at 17033 Butte Creek.
The victim drove off and the defendant followed. Both came to a stop at the secondary location, a physical fight ensued between the two, when the defendant (Wilson) retrieved a pistol and allegedly shot the victim (Dixon).
On 2/27/25, HCSO Homicide Detectives charged Michael Antonio Wilson (3-27-89) with Murder in the shooting death of John Dixon.
Wilson was arrested by members of the HCSO
Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) and booked in the Harris County Jail.
Wilson’s girlfriend, Clarisa Ann Cerillo (11-9-76) was arrested and charged with hindering the apprehension of Michael Wilson. Cerillo has also been booked in the Harris County Jail.
