Ubong Esiere, 34, remains on the run after being charged with murder in the fatal shooting of 34-year-old Terry Meza Jr. Terry’s family is asking for help from the community to find Esiere.
HPD Officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex on Leawood Boulevard around 1:20 PM on February 19 and found Terry unresponsive with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Two other suspects, Tracy Burleson, 32, and Mackenly Nohemy Palomo Medina, 23, have been arrested and charged for their roles in this incident,. Burleson is charged with murder, while Palomo Medina faces a burglary charge.
HPD is searching for Esiere.
