Dobie High School (Main Campus) was placed on lockdown around 8 AM. HPD responded to a report that a student saw someone with a possible firearm on campus.
Houston Police responded to the school and are currently on scene. Authorities say there is no active threat at this time.
Pasadena ISD went on lockdown out of an abundance of caution while law enforcement investigates. It’s confirmed that all students and staff are safe and are being supervised as safety protocols remain in place.
Parents are asked to avoid the campus as it could interfere with emergency operations.
