Human Skeletal Remains Found Inside Portable Restroom on Ruiz Street
HPD is waiting on autopsy results after human skeletal remains were found in a portable restroom around

PM Tuesday, October 21, at 1900 Ruiz Street near 59 and Runnels.
Officers responded to the scene after receiving a report of remains discovered inside the portable restroom. Investigators with the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences confirmed the remains were human.
At this time, the identity, gender, and cause of death are pending verification by the medical examiner’s office.
The investigation remains ongoing pending autopsy results.
