Around 10 PM last night, a fire broke out at an abandoned apartment complex near the intersection of Riddlewood Lane and Link Valley Dr, not far from S. Loop 610 and Stella Link.
No residents were reported in the apartments but squatters have lived there in the past. A firefighter was taken to the hospital as a precaution after suffering heat exhaustion.
