A Hood News Peep and her three children were involved in a hit-and-run this past Sunday morning at around 8:30 AM near Bissonnet and Kirkwood.
According to our Peep, a white Ram pickup truck attempted to make a last-minute turn into a gas station, collided with her vehicle and then fled the scene.
The driver reportedly continued toward Keegans between Beechnut and Bissonnet.
The Hood News Peep said she and her three children, all under the age of 8, were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. She was transported by EMS to the hospital for treatment.
After she was released from the hospital, she returned to nearby businesses to locate surveillance footage that could help identify the driver. Unfortunately, the footage either did not capture the license plate or was too poor in quality to make out the number.
The Peep is hoping for more footage or maybe someone has dash cam footage. She also says she hopes the driver will take responsibility and come forward.
