Clear Lake Shores Police Department is investigating after a man boarded a boat at the Watergate Yachting Center Marina in Clear Lake Shores around 3:18 AM on July 19.
The Hood News Peep said nothing appeared to have been stolen, possibly because the boat’s security camera light activated and captured the man’s picture. Before leaving, the man grabbed a dock water hose and sprayed water throughout the boat’s cockpit.
Another boat owner at the marina had electronics stolen from two boats. Anyone with information regarding the man’s identity is encouraged to contact the Clear Lake Shores Police Department.
