Two Katy residents are in jail after a 26-year-old woman told police she was kidnapped and sexually assaulted.
Seguin police were called around 12:47 AM Wednesday after reports of a woman screaming for help near State Highway 123 Bypass.
When officers arrived, the woman told them she had been taken from the Katy area and assaulted by two people. Police later located and arrested both suspects nearby.
They were identified as 26 year-old Brian Smith and 25 year-old Haiyan Lee, both from Katy.
Both are charged with aggravated sexual assault and human trafficking. Bond was set at $1 million for each charge.
The investigation is still ongoing.
