The grandmother has officially gone to the police station, and a report has now been filed regarding the disturbing situation at Fuel Depot on Bellfort.
A Hood News Peep previously reached out about her grandson, a middle school student, who suddenly didn’t want to return to school. It was later revealed that other students had been teasing him after a humiliating incident was shared.
According to the family, the child stopped at the gas station after school needing to use the restroom but was told it was out of service. The situation escalated when the child went behind the building, and surveillance footage captured the incident.
Instead of handling the matter appropriately, the store allegedly printed images from the footage and placed them on the door. It has also been reported that a clerk showed the video to students, who then recorded and began circulating it.
The video has since spread among students at Attucks Middle School and Alcott Elementary, leading to ongoing bullying. The family says the child is now struggling emotionally and no longer wants to attend school.
This situation involves a minor, and the way it was handled has raised serious concerns. The investigation is now in the hands of authorities.
More updates as they come in.
