The Harris County Bomb Squad has completed their investigation into the suspicious device located inside a residence in the 16500 block of Courtland Circle.
Investigators determined the item was a live explosive device. The Bomb Squad has taken possession of the device and will safely destroy it.
There is no active threat to the community at this time. We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation while deputies and specialized units worked to secure the area safely.
