A Hood News Peep shared video showing what they say is a USPS driver tossing packages from the mail truck into their driveway while it was raining. The resident says the packages remained outside in the rain until they got home.
After filing a complaint with USPS, the resident says they were told that if the contents had been damaged and the package was not insured, USPS would not be responsible for the loss.
The Peep says he specifically asked whether USPS would be responsible if there was video showing a USPS employee throwing packages into the rain and the contents were damaged. According to the Peep, the representative again stated that without insurance, USPS would not be responsible for the contents.
