2900 block of Chenevert St near TuamFour people were hospitalized after a driver suspected of being intoxicated crashed into an HPD patrol unit late last night.
According to investigators, the HPD officers had the right of way when the civilian vehicle ran a stop sign and struck their patrol car. Police say both men inside the civilian vehicle admitted to drinking, and charges are pending as the DWI investigation moves forward.
Both officers and both men from the civilian vehicle were transported to the hospital in stable condition.
