HPD is investigating a shooting that happened around 11:48 PM in the 2300 block of South Highway 6 near Westheimer .
According to HPD Officers with Westside Patrol arrived and found two males, believed to be in their late teens or early 20s, shot in a parking lot. One male was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second male was shot multiple times and transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
A third person, a woman who was driving by and not involved, was also injured after a stray bullet went through her windshield, causing glass-related injuries. She was transported to a local hospital to be checked out.
Investigators said it is unclear whether the shots came from a passing vehicle or someone on foot in the parking lot. No suspect or vehicle information has been released at this time.
