Last night, Splendora PD Officers was alerted to a deceased person found beneath the Peach Creek Bridge near Duke Rd and FM 2090.
The manner of death has not been confirmed. The Montgomery County Forensic Center is working to identify the victim.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is now leading the investigation. A Hood News Peep who lives in the area said there had been a strong odor for several days but had no idea what was causing it. Below are images sent in by the Hood News Peep who had reached out at 10:23 PM last night.
