On Wednesday, November 4, Webster Police Department investigators arrested Ezekiel Jesse Martinez, H/M, DOB 04/15/1995, in connection with a fatal auto-pedestrian crash in the 200 block of Water Street that occurred on Friday, October 30, 2026. The crash killed Justin Padilla, 24, and seriously injured his sister, Felicity Padilla, 20. Martinez was charged with one count of Failure to Stop and Render Aid Involving Death and one count of Failure to Stop and Render Aid Involving Serious Bodily Injury.
The Webster Police Department thanks the Baytown Police Department for assistance with the arrest and the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office and Harris County District Attorney’s Office–Vehicular Crimes Unit for assistance with the investigation. The department also extended its sympathies to the victims’ family and hopes the arrest provides some measure of comfort during this difficult time.
