HPD has arrested two men in connection with the fatal shooting of two victims found at 12100 Buffalo Speedway back on October 8, 2023.
Noble Lawrence is charged with capital murder and Desundre Whitfield is charged with capital murder and two counts of aggravated kidnapping.
The victims, identified as Robert Boyd, 47, and Darryl Lewis, 27, were discovered unresponsive on the side of the road after someone passing by called police. Both had suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased at the scene by HFD paramedics.
Investigations revealed that Boyd and Lewis were abducted earlier that day from the 12500 block of Ashford Meadow Drive. They were later shot and left at the Buffalo Speedway connector road.
Desundre Whitfield was arrested on June 26, 2024, for aggravated kidnapping, with capital murder charges added on November 20, 2024. Noble Lawrence was arrested on November 19, 2024, and charged with capital murder.
