A Hood News Peep reported an incident Sunday afternoon at the Goodwill near Memorial City involving two children inside the women’s restroom.
According to the report, the children exited the restroom and told the Hood News Peep that they heard inappropriate/vulgar comments coming from a man inside a stall. She stated the man was supposedly in the same restroom as the girls at the time of the incident.
Store employees and security responded and escorted the man out of the store.
The Hood News Peep stated store management advised that surveillance footage, witness statements, transaction information, and a vehicle license plate were provided to police.
Houston police responded and took a report. She said police classified the incident as indecent exposure and are investigating. No physical injuries were reported.
Hood News Peep wants to share what happened to encourage parents to stay aware in public places and teach children to report uncomfortable situations immediately.
