Dawud Parker has been arrested and taken into custody, charged with Murder in Fatal Shooting of our friend Alisha Parker!
HPD has identified the Parker in the fatal shooting of 48-year-old Alisha Parker as 44-year-old Dawud Parker. He has now been charged with murder in connection to the February 4th shooting at a convenience store on 1206 Barker Cypress Road.
Dawud Parker was seen exiting the passenger seat of Alisha’s black BMW before coming around her side and shooting her. Officers arrived to find Alisha unresponsive in the driver’s seat with gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect killed his sister, his own sister.
A surveillance photo of the suspect had previously been released as police worked to identify him.
