Harris County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a shooting scene at the Altanova Apartments, located at 15414 Kuykendahl Road, near FM-1960 Rd-W.
The incident began as a disturbance involving several juveniles. The situation escalated into a larger altercation when parents and other adults became involved. During the chaos, a mom discharged a weapon, and one male was struck.
The victim has been identified as a 23-year-old adult male. He was transported to a hospital and is currently listed in fair condition.
Several individuals were detained at the scene. At this time, no charges have been filed, as detectives continue their follow-up investigation to determine all the facts surrounding the incident.
