Murder Charge Filed After Transgender Woman Found Dead in Southwest Houston

Daniel Arnulfo Ceron, 22, was arrested and charged with murder in the death of William Conway, a transgender woman.
Police said Conway’s body was found on May 25, 2026, in a drainage area near a bayou in the 8900 block of Country Creek Drive in southwest Houston.
She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
After investigating, HPD Homicide Detectives identified Ceron as a suspect. He was arrested on June 10, 2026, with help from the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators said Ceron later admitted he was involved in the events that led to Conway’s death.
Investigators said Conway died after Ceron struck her with his hand, causing fatal injuries.
Ceron is charged with murder. The investigation is ongoing
