Just a few minutes ago, an HPD officer arrested the man accused of stealing countless packages from Hood News Peeps in the Stella Link area.
The list of stolen items is unbelievable: bikes, a $700 dress, painting supplies belonging to an artist, diapers intended for an elderly person, an enema, clothing ordered by a teacher, Rogaine for a balding man, SHEIN outfits from a young lady, and the list goes on and on and on.
A few days ago, one of his family members reached out and asked me to take down the post about him. They explained that he had recently experienced the loss of a loved one and suggested that was somehow connected to his actions.
My response was simple: hell no. Lots of people experience heartbreaking losses, and while grief affects folks differently, most do not choose to repeatedly steal from their neighbors. When I asked her if she’d be willing to put her face out there for him and pay back everybody herself, she said absolutely not. OK, then, that’s what I thought.
