if you missed it : Over the weekend, a man known on the streets of Houston as “Pookie” assaulted a 16 year-old restaurant employee after becoming upset over not getting an ice cream cone. It was Father’s Day and the restaurant was packed.
After assaulting the teenager, he then created a loud disturbance in the lobby. According to witnesses, Pookie then fled the restaurant. As he was leaving, he knocked a phone out of a Good Samaritan’s hand before striking the person with his vehicle and driving away.
Pookie is in jail at this time for warrants that he had prior to these recent assaults.
