Camilo Ayala, is also charged with a sexual assault that one at a club on June 14, 2024.
Ayala fled to Mexico. Hood News Peeps found him through social media, and he taunted the entire situation stating he had committed no crime.
UPDATE: A FEW MONTHS AGO HIS MURDER CHARGE FOR KENIA’s DEATH WAS DROPPED DUE TO LACK OF EVIDENCE. He is still wanted for the rape. Maybe now that he has been taken into custody the murder charge can be refiled.
While in Mexico, Camilo’s crimes against women didn’t stop. He was wanted by Mexican authorities for the aggravated rape of a teenage girl earlier this year.
The arrest happened in the Campo del Rayo neighborhood. Investigators say that back on February 22, of this year, Camilo lured a teen into his car under the excuse of delivering a floral arrangement. Instead, he allegedly drove her to a hotel, pulled out a pistol, and threatened to kill her if she didn’t comply. He’s accused of sexually assaulting her there and again later at her workplace. The victim eventually told her parents, who filed a report. A judge issued a warrant, and agents took Camilo into custody to face charges.
For months, Ayala had been hiding out and moving freely and living it up while Kenia’s family seeks justice and grieves for her. Shoutout to the Mexican authorities for capturing him. Detectives with HPD Homicide have been notified. Shoutout to the Hood News Peep who reached out to me last night with the update and we are able to pass on this information.
