Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a shooting yesterday at around 5 PM in the 15800 block of East Relza Dr in Splendora. When Deputies arrived, they found 41-year-old William Warhol III suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. They tried to save him, but he died at the scene. The victim is a Hood News Peep’s Dad.
The suspect, 42-year-old Eric Ross Fergeson, was taken into custody and charged with murder. According to investigators, the two men knew each other and tensions escalated after a vehicle accident earlier in the day. What started as a verbal argument eventually turned violent.
Major Crimes Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators are still investigating the case.
