Eight elderly residents at Lovett Manor Apartments, located at 2056 Antoine Drive in Houston, had their vehicles broken into Saturday morning.
According to a Hood News Peep, the passenger-side windows of eight vehicles were broken and various belongings were taken from inside. The Peep said her mother was among the residents affected.
The Peep said several of the residents live on a fixed income and are now dealing with the unexpected cost of replacing their damaged windows and other belongings.
People are concerned about security at the apartment complex. The Peep claims there are no security cameras in place and believes additional security measures are needed to help protect the elderly residents and their property.
Wish we could get a Come on Down, but unfortunately, there are no cameras.
