Bradric Kuykendall’s mother Tisha, reached out with an update: Imran Ahmed Davis has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in Clayton County, Georgia! He had been wanted in connection with the October 1, 2024, fatal shooting of her 31-year-old son at a convenience store in the 12300 block of Hillcroft St in Houston.
I spoke to Tisha on the phone and she expressed a deep sense of relief that this man responsible for her son‘s Murder is finally behind bars. He is locked up in Clayton County Jail and awaiting extradition at this time. Shoutout to this mom who has always been advocating for her son and not giving up getting justice.
Bradric had been working with family members to remove branches near a gas station on Hillcroft when, according to investigators, Davis confronted them while carrying a handgun. A fight followed, and Davis dropped the gun. Bradric picked it up before he and two family members left for a nearby gas station.
Investigators allege Davis returned in a red Toyota Yaris with a rifle and opened fire at Bradric. Bradric fired back with the handgun from the earlier confrontation. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at Ben Taub Hospital at 9:57 AM. A family member was also shot but survived.
Police recovered 17 rifle casings and five .357-caliber casings. Investigators said store surveillance supported the witnesses’ accounts, and two witnesses identified Davis as the shooter.
The Toyota was found shortly afterward with a flat tire, an apparent bullet strike and possible blood near the gearshift. Investigators were also told Davis had come home with a bleeding hand before leaving in another vehicle.
After nearly two years, Davis is now in custody.
