Today, a deadly shooting took place shortly after 4 AM at the Mar Del Sol Apartments on the 9300 block of Woodfair Dr. Security camera video captured Emilio Dominguez walking toward the parking lot when someone following behind opened fire on him. Emilio was shot multiple times and died at the scene. His killer fled before police arrived.
Emilio’s family had just celebrated his birthday early on Sunday, as his actual birthday is tomorrow.
His niece shared the following message:
“We decided to celebrate my uncle’s birthday a little early since we all had to work on his actual birthday, which is tomorrow. Sadly, he is no longer with us. We received the heartbreaking news early this morning that my uncle was shot multiple times by a coward who attacked him from behind. If anyone knows anything, or if they heard or saw anything, please come forward and contact the police. My uncle did not deserve this. He never liked taking photos but we took this photo yesterday during the get together”.
