FEDERAL CHARGES FILED IN HOUSTON RESTAURANT SHOOTING

Jeremy Ford, also known as rapper Allstar JR, has been arrested in Michigan in connection with the April 8 shooting at Confessions on Kirby that injured rapper NBA Ben10.
According to federal court records, surveillance video showed Ford in a fight inside the restaurant possibly involving a necklace and watch. A gun fell to the floor, which he allegedly picked up and began firing, hitting three people, before he hid the gun behind a hostess stand and took off in an Escalade.
After the shooting, federal investigators say Ford posted videos on social media referencing the shooting, taunting the victims, and released a music video, with lyrics including, “shootout right there in [the restaurant] now I’m two and oh.”
He’s now charged with possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, facing up to 15 years in federal prison.
